However a tapered black marble stone slab restores a level, functional surface for sitting. The opposing elements of the light, wood frame and heavy, monolithic volume that rests upon it, exist in an oscillating balance. Rotated on two axes, the implied instability of the slipping form conceals the durability of Slip Chair.
