Hall of Broken Mirrors

Hall of Broken Mirrors is an immersive installation commissioned by Design Museum Holon for the group exhibition, “The Conversation Show”. Mirrored-glass panels surrounded by soft sculptural forms are configured within three monochromatic environments, encouraging visitor exploration and interaction. The installation transforms the mirror as an object into an architectural-scale environment, created in collaboration with Italian Radical Design company Gufram.

Curated by Maria Cristina Didero, 'The Conversation Show' was on view from May through October 2019.

Excavated openings that mimic the mirror surrounds create an architectural threshold between the different spaces, playing with the concept of reflection within parallel worlds.
