Kith Tokyo

Located in a two-story building in Shibuya, Kith’s first international flagship carries footwear and apparel for men, women and kids, and houses an outpost of Kith Treats — the brand’s signature cereal and ice cream cafe. Once inside the space, a sculpted array of white, cast Nike Air Force 1’s covers the vaulted ceiling, guiding visitors through two large archways into the footwear and apparel rooms on the ground floor.

In the footwear section, shoes are displayed on stainless steel shelving, surrounding a circular glass unit featuring the personal archive of footwear designed by Ronnie Fieg, founder of Kith.

Stainless steel millwork and custom glass vitrines are also used to display clothing and accessories in the apparel department. In an update to the signature Carrara marble herringbone floor at other Kith locations, the flooring throughout the space transitions from white to multicolored, referencing the palette of the facade and window installation.

On the second floor, pastel-colored marble shelving inside Kith Kids creates a playful and vibrant backdrop to display toys and accessories. White marble flooring inlaid with the Kith logo references toy alphabet blocks, and upholstered benches offer a comfortable seating area for trying on shoes.

Inside Kith Treats, the material palette echoes the store’s other environments, while the colorful bar stools and check-pattern flooring references mid-century American diners.
